That's a GREAT idea. It maybe a jump off point as well for future ideas. Again, I don't want people to be STUCK on what I have outlined, to stifle any suggestions. This is OUR trip, in a way, to discover parts of the world together. I will just be doing the shlogging to get there.

Yes!

Again. It is just an idea to jump start further ideas. I want to follow more so what people suggest, rather than my own ideal route. I want it to be the combined planning of everyone who logs on, everyone who is curious about something or feels there is a part of the world that is stigmatized, under represented and/or under appreciated.

Hello,

I totally get that. The road that is the easiest is one one most traveled. Do you have any suggestions in the north of places that may be interesting to see? Any communities in particular, maybe that are quite isolated? My Uncle use to live in Hay River and I remember how I felt as if I had entered an entirely different world when we would make the long haul up to visit him.

Wow. That sounds really beautiful Christie! I agree, no one really knows Turkey outside of Istanbul. In fact, I find in general people assume a capital is an easy summation what the country has to offer, which is not the case at all. It's just the tip of the iceberg. This is a wonderful suggestion and will be added to the map with the other suggestion this week! Thank you!
